Business Partner answered its first real question

Business Partner can now answer direct questions about your numbers, not just tell you what needs attention.

Today, for the first time, it was asked a real question about a real business: what's the gross margin. Two figures existed for the same period, one confirmed, one still awaiting confirmation because it looked unusually large. Business Partner used the confirmed one and left the other alone, exactly as it should.

That's a small moment, but it's the whole point of this capability. An unconfirmed figure never gets used, even quietly, even when it's the only number on file. A confirmed one does. Nothing about how the number is chosen depends on which one happens to be in front of you first.

Right now, Business Partner can answer questions about Gross Margin, Net Margin, how long your customers take to pay you, and how long you take to pay your suppliers. More is coming.
